FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a drug-free, non-surgical method of treating pain
and injuries to the back and extremities through manual manipulation
of the joints of the body, especially the spinal column.
When a vertebrae becomes misaligned (subluxation) due to an external
pressure or injury, a skilled chiropractor can restore the alignment
by applying an opposite pressure in the appropriate manner to correct
the misalignment.
Subluxation of the vertebra can cause pressure on spinal cord nerve
tissues, interfering with the nerves' ability to conduct impulses
to other tissues and organs, thus directly affecting one's overall
health.
How do I know if a chiropractor can help my condition?
If it's not gone in three days, it's probably spinal-related.
Will I feel better in one visit?
Yes, most patients experience noticeable relief after the first
vist.
Do I need X-rays?

Will it hurt?
No. Some patients will experience minor discomfort only on certain
procedures. Most patients don't experience any pain or discomfort
at all.
